MPO RECEIVES CERTIFICATION FROM THE BLU-RAY ASSOCIATION FOR ITS BD 25 25 Boulogne-Billancourt, August 28th, 2008
The Blu-ray Association (BDA) has just awarded MPO its certification for the manufacture of single layer Blu-ray discs (BD25). The 1st Blu-ray discs pressed by MPO were tested by BDA and were certified compliant with Blu-ray format standards. Today, MPO is the only independent presser in Europe with a global Blu-ray manufacturing solution. The company boasts the entire production chain at its French manufacturing site: Blu-ray mastering, pressing, AACS protection and automated packing. MPO was able to manufacture its first Blu-ray discs at the end of August for its European clients. Over 20 titles have already been released. With its expertise of the complete Blu-ray manufacturing process and the full range of investments made on this format, MPO intends to position itself as the partner of choice of European video publishers.
